TRIP TO ALIBAG

Want to go for short weekend trip but not to far so "Alibag" it is friends. So our trip was for 3 days, the day started with ferry ride.You can take the ferry from two places. If you are taking your bikes with you than you take it from Bhaucha Dhakka if you don't have a bike still you can go not an issue. The other ferry ride is from Gateway of India. We took our ferry at 8 a.m and around 11 a.m we reached Rewas beach. Guys, keep checking on your ferry time because sometime it may change.From there we head towards our hotel. while choosing hotel be careful to choose your hotel near beach that's what we did and we didn't have to travel far for anything or else you have to walk a little far. The name of the place were we stayed was ' Sandy's Cottage'. It was a nice place to stay and is near to alibag beach. Alibag is famous for the sea food so you will get a variety of sea foods. The next stop was the very famous "Murud Janjira"fort. This is a island fort so you have to take the ferry to reach the fort. It starts at 8 a.m in the morning and the last ferry will be available at 5 p.m in the evening. Inside the fort there is Meethe pani ka talav. People over there says that the  water comes naturally.  Everybody likes to walk near the beach and if it is the night time than what else can someone ask for.

  The next day was the day for some water sport activity that is available at all the beaches. If you are planning your trip in the December do it after 4th of December. Because 4 December is celebrated as 'Navy Day' and because of that almost all the beaches will be close for sport activity except for Alibag Beach. Before starting the water sport we went to the 'Kolaba Fort' which should be visited once. After coming back from the fort the first water sport activity we did was 'Water Parasailing' it was fun and a new experience for each one of us. After that there was Banana boat, jet skiing,bumper rides. And the day ended with a camel ride. Yes, you heard it right a camel ride at alibag beach. There is also horse ride available. For Dinner we headed towards a local restaurant near.

As we all know Alibag has a number of beaches so the last day we went to Mandava beach, Nagaon beach, Kashid beach.We had to hurry back because the timing of the ferry changed and there no ferry after 2.45 p.m because of the water level.
One tip:- If you are having a bike take it. It will reduce your travelling expense.
